Club trials are run annually (usually June/July) to decide our teams for the competitive Winter season but we are always on the lookout for talented and enthusiastic players of all ages!
If you would like to join us for a chance to wear the black and pink dress, then get in touch at bexleyhornetsnc@gmail.com and let us know the following:
- Parent enquiry: please state the age of your daughter(s) and their current experience
- Seniors enquiry (over 16’s): your experience
Anyone joining the club mid-season may have to wait until the beginning of the next season to start playing matches, as we will need to assess skill level and commitment to see which team players will best fit into. Seasons begin in September (Winter League) and April (Summer League).
If players have not attended training sessions or matches regularly, they will not be entered into competitive leagues. If players are not able to commit fully to Tuesday evening training AND Saturday matches the same will apply. This is the minimum requirement for membership and is at the discretion of the Head Coach.
For weekly team selection we must consider the following: Readiness to play competitively, skill, capability, regular attendance at training, availability for matches, plus a clear commitment to learn and improve.
*COVID-UPDATE*Please note that we are currently unable to take on any new junior members. This is to ensure we can offer a safe training environment in line with the England Netball guidance. We are continuing to look at this policy in line with our membership numbers and hope to open back up to new members soon!
